Northwest FCS News

Michael Stolp, VP and Senior Business Advisor-BMC

Technology is everywhere. You’re likely using it in your operation. But are you positioned to make the most of innovation? Check out the first video in Northwest FCS’ three-part series exploring the drivers, investments and opportunities in current and emerging ag technologies.

Consider this: The United Nations projects world population will rise to more than 9 billion people by the year 2050 and require between 30 and 70 percent more food. More mouths to feed is one driver behind innovation in ag technology. Other drivers include food safety, labor availability, regulations, natural resource constraints and changing climate patterns.

Worried that the tech learning curve is too steep? Don’t be. Check out the video and turn up your speakers. We’re learning too, with more videos to come.
