Local Food

The food you eat should come from down the road, not across the globe. That's the basis of the Local Food Movement. Supporting local food is a mission at Northwest FCS. Along with producers, industry experts and the community, Northwest FCS is proactively collaborating to build more locally based, self-reliant food economies. We believe it's important to support both rural and urban farm operations, and do so by supporting local farmers markets and businessmen and women who are interested in pursuing their agricultural dreams.
