Northwest FCS is committed to improving the economic and social wellbeing of rural communities within the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.
Our Rural Community Grant Program provides money for projects such as building or improving facilities; purchasing necessary equipment to facilitate a program; and funding capital improvements that improve a community’s infrastructure, viability and/or prosperity.
Deadlines for grant applications are February 1, June 1 and October 1 of each year. The June deadline has passed, please check back in July for the October application.
Friends of the Children of the Klamath Basin received a $2,000 Rural Community Grant Award to be used for a kids clubhouse capital project.
St. Paul Elementary PTC received a $750 Rural Community Grant Award, which will be used to purchase stage curtains.

Career Technical Education in Ontario, OR was awarded a $5,000 grant to develop a new curriculum for vocational students.
