Rural Community Grant Program

 
 

Northwest FCS is committed to improving the economic and social wellbeing of rural communities within the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

Our Rural Community Grant Program provides money for projects such as building or improving facilities; purchasing necessary equipment to facilitate a program; and funding capital improvements which improve a community’s infrastructure, viability and/or prosperity.

Deadlines for grant applications are February 1 and October 1 of each year.

Sunridge Middle School
6th grade Sunridge Middle School teacher, Susan Talbot, received a $573.21 grant to purchase a new computer for her classroom.
West Jefferson High School Ag Department
The West Jefferson High School Agricultural Program received a $2,500 grant to purchase a new welder.
Big Timber Community Food Bank
The Big Timber Community Food Bank received a $2,500 grant to replace old appliances.
