    Split flow in the jet stream over the North Pacific led to a high-over-low block that has put Oregon, Washington and Idaho on warming trend for the start of November. Eric SnodgrassEric Snodgrass is the Principal Atmospheric Scientist for Nutrien Ag Solutions, where he develops predictive, analytical software to help agricultural producers manage weather risk. His frequent weather updates focus on how high-impact weather events influence global agriculture productivity. Eric was the Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2006 to 2019, and is now an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the Department.
