SBA Paycheck Protection Program
March 31, 2020
Northwest FCS News
Spokane, Washington
Northwest FCS continues to receive information from the U.S Treasury about the Small Business Association’s (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The Farm Credit System has been named in the CARES Act. We expect to receive additional program guidance and operational details from the SBA and our regulator, the Farm Credit Administration. To this point, Northwest FCS has not operated as an SBA lender. We are investigating the program to determine our appropriate course of action. For information go to the U.S. Treasury website https://home.treasury.gov/.
